Shelly C. James is a roller skating event producer. When Shelly was a young girl in Buffalo, New York, she would gather with family, friends, and classmates. While at these gatherings, she would observe the enjoyment in everyone's interactions and aspire to continue these traditions when she got older.

When Shelly got older, she took the lead after her grandmother passed away and started organizing family gatherings for holidays, game nights, and outdoor summer activities.

Although Shelly loved bringing her family together, she knew that she had more to offer people around the world. In 2022, she started roller skating as a hobby and fell in love with the sport. She would attend roller skating events throughout the country, making her an international roller skater. At these events, she thought to herself, I have been putting social gatherings together for years; maybe I should put together a skate jam.

In 2023, Shelly had her first skate jam, and it was a success. The attendees made sure to ask Shelly to invite them to her next event. Shelly did not waste any time organizing another event in less than two months.That event was a success as well.

Shelly has used her natural gifts of organization, communication, hard work, and intelligence to continue to bring people together to create meaningful memories.
